Default FedEx Strikes again

So I got my wheels in the mail yesterday and check out the job on these boxes via FedEx. My wheel had some minor damage on the lip that I started a claim on already.

Not sure if anything will happen but I think somebody at the FedEx station had an appetite and decided to take a nibble from one of the boxes.

Funny but at the same time - not so much

Hate to say it but those look like old used boxes. Wheels should be double-boxed or at a minimum be wrapped in something for protection.

I cant stand fedex they dented up my hatch in shipping. While I was picking it up I saw the workers slam a large package on a pallet.
I hope they fix this.

Mine looked as if it had dragged, stomped on, shot at the entire trip, it was trashed. I have no luck!

Looks to me as if the company the wheels were purchased from did a ****-poor job of packaging them. I'm not convinced the fault lies entirely with this shipping company.

When I ordered wheels from Performance Nissan a few years ago, they were packaged in a manner that was very protective.

That's a protective wrap for the lip.

Ouch, is the damage on just one wheel or more?

There's currently a claim on two seats that were damaged before I got them. We'll see what Fed-ex says after they look at the seats and boxes and packing material they came in. Good luck with your claim. Will be following this thread.

Unfortunately, for me, the seller has failed to answer a simple question that was asked 2 weeks ago and asked again 1 week ago. Also has been on the forum just about every time I've been on.

Few photos of damage:

im a driver for ups and luckily i dont deliver too many packages that have holes n cuts in the boxes. sometimes its the shippers fault. when i use to be in the HUB and unload, i would see 50lb + packages (of like books/magazines/paper etc) with just 1 piece of tape on it... like wtf ? u think 1 piece of tape is gonna hold that thing together? i dont know about fed ex, but with ups i know u can refuse a package (cuz its damaged or whatever) and you should be able to call the company and they should send u out new ones. hope you can get new ones one soon. post some pics up when ya get em on.

yea, when the ups/fedex guy dropped off my wheels he practically slammed them on my driveway. All i heard was my wheels hitting the concrete

I opened them to check right in front of his face

Man, Looks like this puts a sad spin on the usually happy "Look what I got today!" thread...None of us want to come to the door to this:
