They have V-TAC though . Those hondas are just so light compared to our Z's. Gotta love those monster torque numbers lol

Gifs for the win! lol..

results vs an 07 G35x that used to walk away from me... now I walk away from it. easily.
seriously AMK headers from ebay ftw if youre on a budget.. thats all I was sayin.

there are definitely better more expensive options out there.. but for the CHEAAAAP price and a little work to make em fit (make the bolt holes bigger) the mid range gain is seriously good.

3k+ Miles of hard driving, no cracks. ill report back if/when they do.

LOL...

Anybody who thinks that peak is more important than area under the curve is a moron.

I have the same headers on my G, picked up good midrange (at ~4K rpms) tq and hp. Tune really makes them shine. My dyno show my power increasing all the way to redline.

my z kept up with my buddys 15g'd twin turbo on 13lbs of boost! (he turned it down) lol. .

WHOEVER WANTED THE MEASUREMENTS
the hole is 2 1/8 exiting the stock manifolds.
HOWEVER the INNER part where the exhaust actually comes out, is only 1 3/4"
you cant tell me a 2.25" opening header, with equal length runners doesnt DO anything.. this car is severely choked from the factory.

sick of all these bench racing morons "they dont do this, they dont do that" all you know is what you read online.. not what youve installed yourself. THAT is the source of the FAIL here.
ur e-bay headers are equal length runners? lemme see them... find a pic or something

I purchased these ebay headers and gained 21 rear horse and 16 torque. i have dyno charts to prove it. It was baselined and tested afterwards. Look at my post history if you don't believe me. I made a thread like this with prove so I wouldnt get shot down like this guy

took me 2 hours to take off driver side header, just to find out that eBay header wasn't fitting, by this time im pissed as hell and well, another 3 hours to put the stocker back on.

eBay header = Major fail IMHO.

nothing a carbide bit to drill out the bolt holes (thats the only thing wrong with em) cant fix.

what do you expect theyre 100 bucks?! lol

I can probably do this install front to back in 4 hours now. it IS a pain in the *** to get the new ones up there.. but it was worth it for me IMO.

Get shot down?
haha, hardly, whos the dummy? us, who paid close to nothing but some busted knuckles? or some 15 year old kid that reads honda mags that THINKS he can pay 1000 bucks for headers, and has 0 techincal know-how to install em, ends up payin another 500 bucks? lol..
come on man...
I think from this point so far, they were hands down one of the better mods for the car (catback being number 1)

to the guy that said he gained 20 whp and 16 wtq im questioning that, unless they were long tubes which eliminate the cat all together.

i was looking into the long tubes actually, it wouldn't be street legal (cali laws) but hey, who would know

Headers and test pipes were added. Dyno'd before both on..then after both on. Can't tell how much each mod did. I have multiple dyno charts
