Funny story, i went to the gym today and i parked in the last parking spot on the side of the gym. There was not a car within 50 spaces of me, and i come out of the gym maybe 2 hours later and their is 3 cars near mine, well i now happen to have a small paint chip on my driver side door... LIke Honestly what more do i have to do to keep my car from getting hit??

This past Saturday I washed my car in my driveway, went inside for a minute. When I came back outside my neighbor was mowing his lawn with the mower blowing all over my car! Complete lack of respect. Its not theirs so they don't give a crap!
One morning I was leaving for work and noticed something different on my deck lid. Some time during the night some a$$hole came along a popped my Z emblem off. Left a nice little key or screw driver scratch to catch my eye. I, like most of you here, tend to park far away and alone in lots. My wife hates it when shes with me. The other day we are in her car ('07 Sentra) and about to pull out, when the car door next to her swings open and *BLAM*. Some kid jumps into the car next to us laughing. We both get out and are like WTF! The dad gets in and acts like he didn't notice anything and starts the car to drive away. I yell at him What the f**k, man!? He looks at me and my wife, then says "sorry" and starts to back up. My wife flips out and yells at the guy and he just keeps backing up and then takes off. I almost threw the soda I was drinking I was so mad. Too bad it was mostly empty. My wife now parks like I do, away from everyone.

I just picked up the title to my car 3 hours ago tommorow registering it then let the anxiety begin haha....idk who here is from long island but im going to school where there are the worlds worst haters and idiots Nassau Community College and i dont even know if i wanna drive my car to school there. My old car a 06 STi i hated parking as well at work i paid a old lady across the street like 50 a month to park in her drive way every day...best decision i ever made and same with in high school i was tight with the janitors so they let me park in the janitor parking lot. Hope i can find somewere like that at my school
The perfect thread and I found it in perfect timing. I've had my new 2008 Z for 8 months now and to start the story just right I had somebody give me a little door ding on the driver side the third day I had the car. I try and park as far away as possible but somehow people still end up parking around especially in the crowded L.A Fitness parking lot. The best one of all was last week on my passenger side which I consider a door slam against my car not a ding. It’s about 4 inches long and it makes the car look like ****!!!. Same scenario no idea who, when, and where… because of course my car is right where I left it and no cars around when I get in. I with pleasure, will body slam someone if I catch them touching my car.
People are just oblivious to the whole door ding thing. Many people think "it's just a CAR, they build thousands of them every day!"
Yeah, but this one is mine!
I always park at the end of the row, where the painted line loops around with all of the diagonal criss-cross lines in it...I park 1/4 of the way over onto the criss-cross lines--at least it makes me feel secure.
Of course my wife does that with her new Tahoe too...and she came out the other day to find a HUGE shopping cart dent/crease/scuff/scratch, and the deepest f*cking door ding I've ever seen in the rear door. Looks like it was done with a .22 pistol!
Sometimes I really hate people like that...they deserve CHAIN SAW ENEMAS!
god you guys are ridiculous. are u guys really afraid that your nissan will get keyed out of.. ENVY? so the guy in the s2000 gets keyed out of envy too? how about the civics? last time i checked, this isnt an exotic car forum...

It doesn't have to be an exotic car to be envied. Everything's relative.

1. park in an isolated area
2. park next to a friend you know
3. park next to a nice car
4. park next to a really small car. i have a roof covered parking spot and park next to a smart car at my apartment
5. don't park in sketchy areas. i witnessed some homeless dude unscrew someones antenna in downtown charleston.
6. try to bum rides if you can lol
