Default Noobie seeking advice...

Hey guys, i been looking to purchase a weekend car and i was wondering if there is anything i should be aware of.. Currently, i drive 06 infiniti g35 sedan and i been wanting to get the 350z thus, I have some questions:

1. I am close to 6-4 inches tall, so do you guys recommend roaster vs. hard top?

2. Is there any year of 350z i should be aware of? I am planning to get a/t since i attend grad school in SF.

* any recommendation is much appreciated..

1. you'll be fine in a coupe im 6'3 and theres like 2-3 inches of headroom. 2. 03's have tire feathering and tranny problems and 06's have the oil consumption issue,id go with a 07-08 least problems and they have the hr motor.

lolz.. Thanks for your acute response.. I had s2000 and it was very difficult driving in SF. Too many hills and high number of drivers that ride up your ***.

Just a word to the wise, those subjects have been covered in depth...MANY times. Do a little bit of research only because some of the moderators here are RUTHLESS when a new thread is created about something that has already been done numerous times.

YOu will be okay with a 05 MT, no problems with being crowded or uncomfortable in this model. This year does not have the tire feathering or oil comsumption problems either. Good luck

Grad school? I bet it's not in English....J/K. I'm messing around. I love SF and the driving there is nothing to be freaked about with a 6 speed.

^ Lmao. Yeah stay away from '03 and '06 if you can. Id recommend 07-08 for the HR motor. GL.

06 auto is just fine - no oil consumption issues. Gather data - much avail on this site - make an informed decision.

I think you will be comfortable in either coupe or roadster. So it's your preference.

Note: I personally love the roadster! Unlimited headroom and surround sound! LOL

So you cant drive a manual transmission in san fran? And a convertible would be better than a hardtop for a tall person because you can put the top down and your head wont hit the roof?.... You're in grad school?

Why was that stupid? You can get an 07 or 08 for not much more than an 06 and it has a better engine.

dude getting manual transmission has nothing to do with you attending grade school!
I would definetly consider Manual transmission vs Automatic transmission.
Go manual or GTFO

I currently have a coupe and a roadster. I don't notice a difference in the interior room.... just less trunk space
