They are both fun. I dont prefer one over the other. They are completely seperate types of fun. There are pros and cons to each, so overall they equal out. The bike is more fun for shorter trips and when your by yourself, the car is great when you take the woman out and more comfortable for the longer cruises.

Interesting question. Ive pondered on it because I dont ride motorcycles...would like one though. I was following a bike through some twisties trying to keep off his ***, and this same question popped into my head.

couldnt agree more. wet roads or gravel on the road ftl big time.
my personal opinion would be that bikes are real fun in the twisties but you have to focus all your attention on it. looking out for other drivers, stuff on the road, slowing down enough for each turn, being smooth, body position, on and on. driving to me just seems more relaxed. not saying i dont look out for other people when i drive, just that there are more things to think about

Let me know if it helps. Just heads up to you and anyone else taking the Z there to take full advantage of the pretty decent stock suspension. Lowered Z's be on the look-out, because I am pretty sure you will bottom out in a few spots. Especially, the DIP(simply awesome).

First it has been a while since I rode motor bikes. I had a Honda 750K and a 240Z. I pushed much harder in the twisties in the Z than on the Honda on hardtop. I have ridden cross country on a bike and usually tried to stay off the main roads camping along the way. I only dragged my pedals once on an unexpected hairpin turn and I did not like the feeling of being glued to the bike. I am just glad that I did not go down on my leg. Riding through a downpour in Canada was also a bummer. I also ended my trip sitting on an in-flatted tire tube So my experience was that I preferred lazy summer traveling on a bike and driving fast in a Z. My compromise now is a Z Roadster.

I had a 2005 ninja 636 and enjoyed every minute of it. Riding the bike and driving in the Z are very different and very fun in their own respect. On a beautiful day, nothin beats a nice ride on the bike.

I'd take the bike over the z any day for twisties. Someone mentioned that there's much more to think about when riding the bike. It's true and that's what makes it that much more enjoyable for me.
