I'm a little lost. Are you asking why Nissan implemented that into the car? or are you asking how to remove it?

Uh oh. Buy the hks speed defender and racing another car trying to get to your top speed is dumb.

^ Just use cruise control, this road has almost zero traffic through the forest, smooth and you can see ahead for easliy 25-30 miles. There are small hills onthis road every so often, trust me the car sticks to the road, very nicely. I take this short cut between Albuquerque & Phoenix, time saver and you can really drive the Z car without endangering others or yourself!! The Z wasnt even breathing too hard approx 4300 RPM, not anywhere close to redline.
Leaving Alb. going south, take a left out of Soccoro and then Springerville, Show low & Payson, by the way this is beautiful drive through the flatlands & mountains of Arizona.

That's a built in feature to try to reduce the amount of Darwinism's that occur. But I do applaud you for asking that question.

im in abq so i will have to take a ride out there sometime. i tried taking 550 west out of bernalillo, but theres too much traffic. i hit about 140 but backed off for safety. passing cars going that fast is a little too crazy for me lol. i also passed two cops while i was going 100+ and my radar went off. they were driving the other direction so i figured i could put enough distance between them even if they turned around haha

Whoa buDDy slow down, especially on that road, too many walking drunks along that stretch of road, plus the traffic is too heavy. I try to NEVER put others in danger, my road is very desolate and you can see for approx 25 miles straight ahead. Now that I have tested the Z car, I have no need to ever go that fast, unless on the race track.

Maybe you can learn from my stupidity, it can already be done. Don't risk your life or the lives of others!!!

i only had one chance to get up to speed because of all the traffic, i lucked out and no one was coming the opposite direction, no one in front of me...so i went for it. i did find a few decent side roads out there that would be good. just long straight two lane roads.
but good points, thank you. if i get the chance, or i ever want to do that i will try your route. otherwise, there just arent many safe places aside from the track.

btw, im not sure you can see 25 miles lol. it's limited by your eyesight and the curveature of the earth. but i get your point.
