1900 Horsepower 350Z

When you think of professional funny car drag racing, what comes to mind? Inanely hopped-up Camaros and Mustangs duking it out? What about a Nissan 350Z? No? Maybe it should.
Created by long-time drag racer and team owner John Bradshaw, the Project Zed Nissan 350Z beats an incredible 1,900 hp out of its 3.5L V-6 engine, enough to rocket the car to 60 mph in a scant 1.2 sec., hit 168 mph in 4.1 sec., and on to 215 mph in just 6.6 sec., faster than most vehicles on the street reach 60 mph.
"It's incredible to finally have the car ready to test now and we are all very excited by its potential," said Bradshaw. "It really is a car that is capable of setting records around the world and just shows what a Nissan engine is capable of producing."
When Bradshaw's Project Zed makes its debut at the FIA European Finals at Santa Pod Raceway in England, it'll be the first Pro Class 350Z in Europe and the only Japanese car going up against the traditional American iron. It won't be a new experience for Bradshaw, though. Last year, his team set the record for the fastest Japanese car in Europe with a 1,150-hp 1997 Nissan Skyline dubbed Project GTST, a record he may well break this year.

Definitely not an HR...
Its based on the regular VQ35DE.
hats the old performance motorsport shell... the chassis was redesigned and rebuilt to perform better. Thats what we have been working so hard on the last couple of months @ Performance Motorsports, Andrew Rubio(the guy that built my motor) had to redesign and rebuild a new motor prior to it being shipped out to England, the old motor when we tried to run it overheated and was shooting fluids all over the place :O And we never had spare motors back then when the car was raced in the US 2004, so basically we had to restart and Andrew and the new owner John Bradshaw had to redesign and restart a whole new race program for this car!
So basically in a nut shell, John Bradshaw is a friend of the shop and we are working with him towards bigger and better things with all the new research and development with the new engine program, hopefully we can trickle it down to the street and provide a better solution to the street cars. Currently testing that out with my engine setup and a 3 other guys out on the street as we speak. We build for power, but we heavily emphasize more on the RELIABILITY and everyday DURABILITY of the engine and the entire car.
So keep an eye out, we are working with internetbrands so that we can be site sponsors. Soon we'll update everyone on new things for the VQ, Revup, HR engines, ss well as our project 370z and GTR
