not that I dislike them, but I dont have them simply cause I bought my car off the lot and didnt have them. but since then after a year, I have 0 scratches that I could possibly say would have been avoided by the gaurds.

also now that I have some nice tires on there, I prefer the uninterupted view of the 275 rubber peaking out of the rear.

Took mine off as soon as I got home from the dealer. No regrets.

Better than having paint chips on the back of your bumper from flying debris.

Wouldn't you have to drive backwards to get chips on the back of your bumper?

Flying debris kicked up by the rear wheels. Not driving backwards.

The Z looks good with or with out them...They're definately not a major look altering item. I have them, will remove them when I get a kit. Till then, I'll leave em on. I paid for em, may as well.

I made sure I didn't get them with my Z when dealers were pushing them as a "required option" in my area. I really think the ruin the lines of the car. To each his own, I guess. I haven't had any paint problems as a result of not having them.

I like the clean look:

no definitly not, a year of driving on it, 8000 miles, not a single scratch in those areas.
