I'm 17, turning 18 in a few months. The Z will be MINE and I'm paying for it. I've been waiting for my car ever since I got my license at 16. The waiting paid off.

22 years old, fresh out of school, paying for it myself; do I still get to enjoy high school girls too?

Damm, I feel old at 27. It feels like I just left highschool (the best car on the lot at the time was a 1990 300zx ) and I had a meager 1987 Accord hatchback.

that kinda makes me sick, 16 and owning a Z for your first car.
I'm 24 and buying this car with my hard earned cash.

hey its coo

i'm 22 and workin' full time. just for us. we know the appreciation of working hard to get things. i just makes it all that much more pride to know you earned it.

if he's 16 and thats really his car and not his dad's.. then cool. i wish my dad bought me a car at 16.. instead i inherited the chevy astro van and pimped the ladies at track practice haha.

It's funny, ever since high school I kept getting older, but my girlfriends stayed the same age!

Maxima's are great cars! That is what I opted to get instead of the 350Z, but wish I had a 2002 or 2003 because they got the samee 3.5 engine the Z has (though I know they are tuned differently).

Do what I am planning to do, wait another 2 years till a few Zs hit the used market and pick up one for $20,000. Nissan cars are great and last a long time, so why not go used. Though it won't compare to getting the car new or getting the car now because it won't have the same attention getter that is has right now.

My other reason for waiting is hopefully my insurance rates go down as I will be older. For now, I am happy with my Maxima....but if by next year, my urge is still there, I may just get a new Z because I will be out of college by next summer.

I am pretty young also...only 21 years old but I have run a business for the last 3 years which makes money, plus I am a full-time college student with good grades plus I am looking for a part-time job right now to make some extra money on the side.

So I think I deserve something nice, I work my butt off! And if you are young and working hard, then you deserve this car! Nothing like driving a sports car when you young!

One of the perks of old age can be seen in my signature. Who needs high school girls?

daytona350Z,

Sorry for asking, but I have trouble with the math and need your help. You just turned 16, 2 months ago. What type of work that you have been doing since you're born that can earn enough money to pay for 3/4 of the Z. As I recall, this country have child labor law. My son mow lawn and pet sitting for neighbors for several summers and earn enough money to pay for half of his car insurance and extra money for gas when he turned 16.
