I'm 18 and have been working since I was 15. Worked at a music store at 15, web design company from 16-18, and then at Costco when I was 18. Just traded in my 97 4Runner for a new Nissan 350Z. Paid for it all in cash I earned myself except for 5,000 that I financed so i could keep some cash in the bank for insurance payments and anything unexpected. So in response to your statement, it is possible if you work hard and know how to manage your money. Peace.
