the funny thing is that the door doesn't really need much help with closing, they are always asking, dude! why does the door always swing closed when I'm getting out? "the doors weight already helps, so not much effort is needed", i say. then they slam the door shut!! really ????

Or when you are cleaning or something and the door closes on your leg or ankle that was hanging out... I swear my doors close automatically.

Even though I don't mind opening the door for my girlfriend, I'm really just doing it to stop her from slamming the door.

I just slapped mine once and she hasn't done it since. In fact, she is now an active anti door slamming activist.

+1 on not taking anybody in your car. drive by urself. nothing beats that. and ocasionally if a girl comes around you open/close the door for her. problem solved.

ps: I dont take anybody in my car for real unless its my girl.

If you have a roadster, you might want to install ejection seat for your passenger. The kind you see in jet fighter planes.

Holy sheet, none of these are solutions, LOL!! If you really want it not slammed, just roll down the passenger window by the slimmest of margin, I GUARANTEE you won't hear that noise again unless your pushy friend does the window button. Just be careful washing the car because water might get in, if isn't closed in the slimmest of margin.
