Yeah, right. That is very polite.

So you're pulled over while heading towards the hospital, but after the stop, you don't know how to get there?

There's definitely more than a few weird things in your story that makes me think there's a different side to it. I'll come right out and say it...I would venture to guess that you WERE driving like a crazy *******, but when the cop finally saw you, you began driving normal. Since the cop did not witness you driving recklessly, the only thing he could get you was thru that stupid sticker technicality.

yeah the cop sounds like a d1ck. but maybe you had it coming.

Im Irish so umm def nothing can be done..

SUE HIM....maybe if we all sued these a$$holes most of these cops would stop fu*king around....maybe you should find out where he lives, go to his house w/ your friend, and walk away laughing......while his house is burning down
LoL.

sleeperbold hope they find your sister...

Of course everyone keep in mind there's always another side to this story than what we hear.

And to all the people that are saying there is another side to the story.. I would have to say no, I have always respected cops and never raised a fuss when i've gotten a legit ticket. If you have ever drivin in corvallis or oregon for that matter you know what its like 2 lane freeways, w/ everyone going the same 40mph in both lanes. First off even if I was out of line which I wasnt, him following me around to the hospitol is totally out of line. Also, one thing I didnt mention was when I was getting out of my car at the hospitol and he was getting out of his behind me a lady drove by rolled down her window and said something to the effect of he got you too, he gave me a 30 in a 25 her last week he's an *******.. and sped off...

And WTF would I make this up??? Seriously this is rediculous, im a shy person too something seriously has toupset me when I walk into a police department and ask how to fill out a report... Im sorry i'm sure alot of honest and kind cops existing out there but this guy was simply on a total power trip beyond belief... It could be because I live on a college campus in a football town and all the football players give the cops hell.. and get away with it but still seriously.

Even if I was lying, and lets say I was speeding the cop never witnessed this, he simply got a phone call... What is that innocent untill proven guilty?? He is totally out of line harrasing me and following me around...

AND Finally.. WHY I didnt know how to get to the hospitol is because the lady at Student Health services gave me dirrections FROM my appartment, being I dont have morning class on wednesday... and my app for clear bra removal was this friday, but I got a date with a girl that I really like So I changed my clear bra appointment and wednesday was the soonist they could get me in unless I wanted to wait till monday of next week... He said it wouldnt take long and it ran a bit longer than I expected.. Thus When I got back to corvallis (being I dont know the town well) of course I dont know how to get to teh hospitol from the freeway...

Anyways thanks all for the input I feel a bit better now that everyone else feels the same way as me... I didnt know if I was over reacting but this seriously struck a nerve... The skin thing kindof sucks I had to get about 2.5 in removed from my leg so no sports for 2+ weeks=(

when you have an encounter with a cop you immediately feel like they have more liberty to do what they want..thats why ppl question themselves when they get into confrontations with cops

I think you most of you guys get tickets because...
#1 ..You break the law ( cops dont make them...they just enforce them )

#2.. You lack the maturity and intelligence to articulate your way out of the mess you created for yourself

You need to get smarter before you get locked up and meet Bubba....now THAT would be a bad "popo" experience.

Seriously..some of your comments just make you look so damn ignorant...

Grow up before you have a real problem with mr/ms "popo"

There have been some intelligent replies...but most of them are of the pre-school variety.

And Jbjam02...You should realise that if a 2 year old agrees with you it doesnt mean much

For future reference, the next time you try to make yourself seem more intelligent then you really are, you might want to check your spelling, and you might also want to check and make sure the words you use actually make sense in the sentence...

I didnt expect you to understand what I said or reply with anything other than the juvenile response you came back with. You just proved my point little boy. If you want to sound intelligent you are going to have to try harder than that. Talk to mommy and daddy about your "malfunction" after they discuss the birds and the bees with you.

The only thing that has been proven is that in typical cop fashion, you cannot accept any point of view other than your own. I feel sorry for you that your limited intelligence and skills somehow forced you into a career in law enforcement. How sad for you......how sad for those who fall under your misguided, most-likely abused, authority.

Good come back. Like I said ..you dont have much to say except that you dont like cops...I think we got that ( well at least I did) quite a few posts ago. I bet if I pulled you over you would be doing the old "Yes sir" to me ...Yeah thats right...I dont believe that BS you said about cursing at that other cop...not for one minute "tough guy".

yeah, my sister used to live in Oregon and from what I can remember... (1) everyone is very courteous when they drive... almost too courteous; (2) they will ticket you for going any amount over the limit; and (3) oregon cops are bizatches... even though my good friend from high school is an oregon cop.

for what it's worth, I believe you or at least I believe you believe yourself. for what it's worth, put your story before the judge, but honestly, I wouldn't expect any sympathy.

I never said I don't like cops. I said I despise cops like the ones discussed here, and probably the kind of cop you are.

I also don't claim to be a "tough guy." The conversation I had with the fat-a$$ cop is verbatim...whether you believe it or not is irrelevant. The only people I "Yes Sir" or "Yes M'am" are those who have earned and deserve respect. An overweight, slug of a police officer who abuses his authority does not deserve such consideration. I'll bet they "Yes Sir" the hell out of him at the Krispy Kreme counter though......ooops! Did I just stereotype a cop??? Shame on me.....

this is kinda funny to read...

nychotcop--what you cease to understand is that the only stories posted on this site about copsare the ones that are outrageous

so your arguments will only survive if someone posted a thread where he was clearly wrong..untill that happens..stay out of here

you dont see everyone else justifying their proffesions

so why are you

Take it to court and get a lawyer. If there was no major law broken, you have a good case for the judge.

How come all the cops that come and reply to these threads give any good suggestions. Instead, they try to act like their the SH** and give lectures.

I dont have to justify my profession ..any reasonable person can see that police are necessary. Some cops are jerks...just like some of you are jerks...but the vast majority of people are ok...and that includes cops too. What I dont like here is the stereotyping...but I know thats because I am the man..and I enforce the law..and some people dont like that I can do that.

So you think that a guy who admits he broke the law...but is mad because the cop didnt give him a break is an outrageous cop story? Tell me you are joking. Outrageous cop story usually end up with someone taking a beating ....or a bullet. This is a typical "I am pissed off that I got a ticket!!" cop story. If he was right he would get it fixed in court...but he knows he wont get it fixed because he is not right...he had violations...so he is pissed at the man for enforcing that law he broke. And remember...he got turned in by a fellow motorist...or did you forget that?

As far as you telling me to stay out of here....please....dont make me laugh.

Sorry. I meant most cops that reply to these threads don't have any good suggestion/comments.
