I would go for a plenum spacer, and possibly a re-tune/reflash. Might help you get the most out of your bolt-ons. I would definitely get some new wheels, then maybe look towards some body work.

as for this thread .. figure out what you want to do with the car first .. then spend it

if theres a loan - use it for that

going fi - save

going n/a - intake / exhaust / etc

look good - body kit / wheels / audio / etc

your car, do what YOU want to do with it
I Read your thread, and know your situation, I apologize for my lack of re-informing in a quick joke to re-enforce my main point of put the money towards rainy day or loan. No bubble bursted here but Ill have to go get off on something else then.

pick up some cheapish used wheels with decent tires, but don't spend the full 2.5k on wheels
I say intake, plenum spacer (or full plenum), coilovers, a nice tint and a good audio system
Then pick up some cheap wheels in the marketplace section

Save it for the maintenance on the car that you don't yet have. You never know what you'll find in the first few months.

true that.

also tires. IMO tires are the best bang-for-buck as far as performance goes... of course, it is a somewhat temporary 'upgrade'

Strippers... Spend it on strippers!

Or put it towards the loan, if there is one.

After that, wheels, drop and tint.

Sounds like you have a good base to work of off already. I do agree with putting that towards the loan, but we all want to play and if we have the surplus to do it, we will find a way to do it. Coils and suspension are great...wheels are great...plenum spacer/upgrade and a tune is a great idea...but again, its all up to you.

Personally, I would use that to do a Plenum spacer and some new shoes (used in the marketplace or even ebay if you can find a legit deal)...

I have an 04 Z and just spent about $2200 on it. My first mods should be here at the end of the week.
Ordered 19" rota p45f wheels,nexen n3000 tires,eibach sportline springs,spc camber kit, and a pioneer avh-p4100.

I think wheels and suspension are the most noticeable mods you can do. Luckily for you you already have exhaust and headers which will be my next order.
