What have you done for your Z today?
#261
Around 3:30 pm, had an itch to take a quick drive in the canyons. Well, in my head, I though it was going to be a quick one...like a couple of hours.
After almost a tank of gas, 300 miles, 6 hours later, my Z is a mess. A dirty Z is a happy Z.
The Route:

Just got my car back after having my KW V2 suspension installed. The car is dropped about one inch all the way around but the front might be closer to 1.2ish. Once they settle I'll reconsider my height options. Also got my shorty antennae.
Oh yeah, I also just got my wheels back. My LE 37's had some curb rash so I had all of the wheels reshot in gloss black and repolished. They're basically brand new again. I also had the "Volk Racing Limited Edition" stickers reprinted in the same anodized blue (used to be factory gold) as my locking lug nuts but have yet to put them on.
Next up...painting my new 06-08 headlights black before I mount them on the car and I'm also considering my front lip options.

Believe it or not, I know this isn't common, I bought the thing to drive it. That is it's purpose. No machine of mine will be pampered like a 'lil prima donna. And, besides, that's what soap, water, and wax is for. Oh, and some touch up paint.

What turbos did you go with? I WAS gonna go with a complete custom setup for mine but ended up getting the Turbonetics single turbo kit instead. It'll do what I'm shooting for (after a little tuning) so I'm happy w/ it. I start putting it on today, after I get off of work

The center console was pretty scratched up, so i also rfeplaced the center consolde from the shifter up with one from a 2003 Z; since, i replaced the stock navi with the Pioneer one, i also replaced the motorized console box with a manual onew. Now, i have to yank the DVD player for the stock navi out of the spot behind the driver's seat; f anyoen knows how to do it, please IM me.
