Meh, my 275s take pretty hard launches without breaking loose. I'm sure some of the people running 305s can out-launch an AWD. And plus, it's still 1100lbs heavier. And I know it was mentioned that they're twin turbo - assuming by twin you mean sequential - sure it has less lag but there's still going to be a bit of lag on any turbo system.

I'm sticking with the thought that the winner is based on driver-error.

Got my pulley changed and figured out the belt size. UR pulley with idler delete takes a 430k6 belt. Also got my gauge panel bent up, now to drill the gauge holes and mount it. Run wires ect etc.

Just adjusted my clutch so that the engagement point is lower. The difference is like night and day. It's like driving a brand new car!

Installed the Z1 trans mount last night. Very nice piece.

Today, lower a customers G, work on my gauge install and install toe arms on pro_350z's car.

 

More of what I did today than what I did for the Z. Went to test drive an FR-S with a female friend of mine (she's looking to buy one so I figured I'd drive it, too). I was surprised, really. Nothing like I thought it would be. Turn in was great and balance was even better, but...

I'm not a huge fan of the engine. It seemed spiritless compared to the other boxer engines subaru makes.

The car was relatively comfortable but seemed to be better suited for someone with shorter legs and torso as my head was rubbing the roof and the steering wheel felt miles away but the pedals were a bit too close. I've had this experience in every toyota I've sat in, though

Handling was great and walking into it I thought it would make my Z feel like an utter slob, however, this wasn't the case at all. Sure my Z is heavier, but it feels more planted and less twitchy. Not sure how to describe it other than that.

All-in-all, it's a great car but I'm keeping my Z for sure and I'll never again look at one of those and think I bought the wrong car.
