i plan on doing a write up on it when it do it. but its a 2 component polyurethane expanding foam strategically placed in the pillars/floor channels.
first i got to ask my local autocross club to see if this is allowed, for when i do start racing, if not im gonna have $120 of foam i cant use.

Worked on a buddy of mine's 240sx and polished his headlights with some toothpaste. His were really bad and they still came out great!

i searched for threads, but the only thing i really found was youtube videos with the 'typhoon' intake. I wanted a slightly more oem appeal.
I have the FIPK kit.
Here it is right after I installed it.

I bought mine from Autoplicity.com, never used them before but they had a great price and shipped pretty quickly, other car forums had reviews on the site.
I like it, makes noise, comes with bolt on airbox and isn't overly intrusive looking. Engine sounds crazy at WOT with stock exhaust right now @.o

Oh, and today I finally got my AC idler pulley and belt in the mail, so installed that.
Also got my OEM steering wheel in the mail (thanks turbo toys), and installed that.
Now I just gotta chase down a weird dying/hesitating issue that just popped up like today, and I think it might be a loose battery ground cable..

Tried out my new initial Uprev tune with all my parts fitted, found a new road with actual corners and hills.
OMG, it pulls, my God does it pull! even uphill round the corners in 3rd, i thought there wasn't much left due to the nature of the road and speed, but pushing the pedal further and it just kept pulling harder.
Very impressed
Similarly with the Motordyne rear swaybar, that really made a great difference round the corners, very level and excellently planted.

Dropped the transmission and removed all the garbage nissan clutch hydraulics.
Found the "orifice" that makes bleeding a nightmare (at least on the HRs).
Its a manifold that the two hard lines meet at under the driver side fender liner. The manifold has incredibly tiny in and out holes, approximately 1/16".
Its easy to see how surface tension of the brake fluid would have issues gravity bleeding past this or getting air bubbles forced pass it.
Not to forget the hardline coming out of this manifold goes thru a lovely loopty loop as well. Its likely a feature for bending / vibration resistance but not helpful to the bleeding process.

today i installed my first modification to the car. the spl compression rod bearing things. took about an hour to do both. easy job, except it rained, so i was soaked at the end of it.
used the SPL recommended sockets, hydraulic press method. buddy zwicliflieflife on here helped me. same dude that fixed my headlights above.

car handles much improved. more noise and rattling as well. i'll go through and re tighten everything back down after a few miles.

Friday I replaced the ugly license plate camera I had with a Corolla specific Pyle camera. I had to cut the bumper to install it but I like it much better and the picture is better on every level.
