That does have front mudguards which sort of let it flow

What I was mentioning were simply suggestions. Just thought it'd help to mention what I've seen work other than true V3 aero.

Tried to find where the clunking was coming from in my front end. Ended up narrowing it down to the steering rack I think. Fml

What kind of clunking are you experiencing? I've been hearing that same kind of noise too but I was thinking it was more likely coming from the sway bar area.

It sounds like a loose endlink or something. I thought it was coming from the sway bar as well but when I turn the steering wheel 2" back and forth it makes the noise. So I had someone do that while I went underneath and you can feel the slop on the shaft up against the steering rack. I can also rock the car back and forth to make the noise. Checked all my bolts/nuts for my endlink and couldn't find anything.

I pulled the stock spring and struts off today and put my Hotchkis lowering springs and KYB struts on.

I just lifted my car..... I hope these settle down quite a bit.

I can post pics when the sun comes out.

Interesting..sounds like were having the same issue. I changed out the front sway bar and endlinks but I recently checked and everything felt tight. If I go over gravel or bumpy roads it occasionally creaks as well.

Today I took my Z for a drive 52 km to Frankfurt, legally at 140 mph. The Autobahn, you gotta love it.

Yup. Same here. I have Hotchkis sways, Whiteline endlinks, swift springs and Bilstein socks. Doesn't look like and bushings are bad either

Got plans to replace the sub woofer first... ~500 bux will get me a 10" under the bar along with a small amp. Then replace the other six speakers later.

what's goin on man, seems like something is definitely off with your system.

when I first got my Z last july and listened to the stereo (bose) I knew it would be the first thing I replaced.

I also bought the pioneer700bt and have been super happy with it, I noticed a dramatic increase in sound quality. You mention your volume level going up to about 62? 14 is usually the MAX I put it on. Maybe something is wired incorrectly or your settings are a lot different?

also, as for the sub/amp

I got a small monoblock fosgate amp on craigslist for ~$70

and this fosgate 10'' with truck box, and put it behind my passenger seat $150 :
Amazon.com: Rockford Fosgate P3S-1X8 P3 Shallow Punch Single 8-Inch Loaded Subwoofer Enclosure: Car Electronics Amazon.com: Rockford Fosgate P3S-1X8 P3 Shallow Punch Single 8-Inch Loaded Subwoofer Enclosure: Car Electronics

the setup sounds fantastic to me. I won't be winning any competitions, but for my system I absolutely did not want to take up any extra trunk space, so this fit the bill perfectly. I would say if your passengers are over 5'9'' they may be uncomfortable though. Not a problem for me as it's usually only my gf in the car!

So far I have finished the component amplifier install. I'm running two amplifiers inside of the glovebox, I did have to dremel a bit of the oem glovebox out of the back of it, but you can't tell since the amplifiers sit in front of it.

As I put the plastics back in, I detailed them all with Nonsense from Chemical guys to give them all a nice, clean shine. Going to clay bar the rest of the car and detail it. Install my rear diffuser (sometime this week if not today), install clear reflectors, cut holes for upper control arms, start on wire tuck and engine bay polish (maybe), wait for new spacers and tires, then wait for the money to get sides and front lip :P
