Default What did I do for my Z today???

Got it a new companion.

Sadly, however, that means my trusty silver Z33 has to sleep on the street until my rental garage becomes available on April 1.

Why? Cuz my wife's winged carp (Z34N) gets a warm parking spot too.

It's called maintaining domestic harmony.... or maybe "preservation of my species".

Oh, and did some "testing"...

Data collection, dontcha know it!

don't worry if you get a lot of vibration at first. They settle out and become really not that much vibration after about 300 miles of driving.

Yeah a buddy of mine actually had these and they were insanely loud. But I think he had a previous generation because the teflon rings were white, mine are black.

Besides, I'm in Detroit. It's stupid how bad the streets are here. Everything vibrates and rattles anyway.

Lets see-

Last weekend: Repaired the other side rear strut mount with the KYB kit. I already did the passenger before. The ride is damn near silent now, no weird clunking or squeaks, just nice muted thuds of the suspension doing it's job.

Ordered a 380RS pedal from Ebay in hopes of helping me heel/toe. Is it difficult for anyone else with the factory pedal??....

Oh, and took pictures in the parking lot at work while my peers judged me.

Heal 'n toe isn't great with the stock pedal, but it's not bad. The RS pedal is amazingly effective though, you'll like it

I need to get that 380RS pedal. I can't even heel toe sitting a stoplight looking at the pedals. New pedal might not help me, but it can't hurt lol.

I can heel toe on the stock pedals, but it's pretty difficult compared to some other stock pedals (and I have relatively small feet, too, so that helps).

HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA....

Way ahead of you n0smoke..... ripped the poseur badge off BEFORE I picked up the new one. HAR!!!

But ya, parking the silver one (Liam) next to wife's Niz for a couple weeks sealed that deal. But I missed the badge so much that the I had to pull the trigger on the black Z33.

I'm right there with ya, bud. Wife says to me this morning before we left the house: "What're you doing?"

"Uhhhh, just looking at some pictures."

Headshake.

"No really, I'm looking at a foodie pic for a change."

Never mind that the previous 25 and succeeding 20 were of the new car.

Good save on my part. (Patting myself on the back for my quick thinking.)

tried to purchase 2 new :-( front tyres but seems it is not so clear cut as i have 275/35/18 at the rear and at present have 225/45/18 on front this is on the forged Rayz so the question is what size tyre should i go for on the fronts that will not affect the ESP/VDC ..?
