Installed Gen 3 Stillen CAIs, today. Didn't use the K&N Filters, though. I used the aFE air filters from my old Nismo CAIs. Horn relocation rigged up with the rubber, metal clamp they supplied. Those hose clamps aren't large enough, diameter to secure to the radiator core. Had to get creative with black zip ties. Install took nearly four and a half hours. Well worth it.
Will install this as soon as I get my DEI battery insulation. Almost forgot to get a pair of terminal felts, battery grease sealant and terminal brush cleaners.
Went through pairs of latex gloves and had to remove the bumper, too. The horns were supposed to be rewired to be relocated, but I went my route and just offset them w/o rewiring close by the hood latch. I did happen to take a lunch in b/w and freshen up shower, lol. So, maybe three and a half hours. Right on time 3.5!
Forged Performance snuck me in this morning for a oil change (went back to the 10w40 instead of 5w30), even though they have almost zero availability with the getting ready for the airstrip/zdayz. Also swapped my squeaky-*** Gaits belt for OEM. Only concession is that they asked if I would run some Forged stickers while up at a Zdayz. I accepted, only stickers I've ever had on my car. I actually kinda like them...
Wow, Len, that's pretty serious. What hub were you running? I know there's been a lot of talk about that in the Track prepped group... Interested to hear the rundown of what happened.
