A good buddy whose been in the Z game for a while recently bought back his Z from the fellow he sold it to. Him and another buddy, who owned a Z with both of us back in the day, came over for a good ol Z reunion and to see if his SSRs would fit over brembos. Also got a feel for Volks on his ride. It's a good thing we did, because we found a nasty tear on one of the wheels....
Also, got in some fresh new oil. Going back to 30 weight.

Finally got it past MD inspection. Only had to put () put Berk HFC's and an Invidia Gemini exhaust to fix the exhaust leak. (which I did last night). And YES I had to put all that on (so far as the wife knows ). Sounds amazing, and grinning from ear to ear. Wash and wax time

Sound is amazing could only rev because car is still on stands awaiting work wheels tomorrow! ! Been down for over a week. Idk how people store cars for winter. I start her everyday even with open cats just to.curve the addiction.

Installed a DMH electric exhaust cutout after the resonator and before the muffler.

Last night, I spent a couple of hours taking off 2500 miles of Zdayz grime and road filth. It felt good. That exhaust residue was a biyatch!

Put my car up on stands, took off it's shoes, pre-soaked all the exhaust flange bolts and hangers (will continue for next few days before hitting them with the impact) in anticipation of next great experiment... inbound exhaust system.

That I said I'd never do. "Bah humbug, useless, non-power-yielding mod, too much noise!! Get off my lawn!!"

Also tried to figure out if my dashcam would survive being mounted on the exterior for before/after sound clips. (No ext mic for it....).

Yeah yeah, get off my cheapa$$ and order the GoPro Hero that I've been thinking about...

Well wheels showed up! Thank god for fedex home delivery on Saturday.
Went to tire shop and mounted the S04.
Was nervous all the way home that they wouldnt fit and or rub. Only downside i found in going to 18s is the rear fender gap double in appearance. So ill be shopping for coils. Thank you to all those who helped me find specs and ansquestions without being too harsh or judgemental and just saying search noob.
Wheel specs are 18x9.5 22 18x10.5 20
265 35
285 35
Turn in feels really good.
Havent pushed yet.
I opted to not install tpms and no light yet sure it will come.

Here is a short clip of the tomei

RED HOT AWESOMENESS!!!

Too much exhaust for me (and the local gendarmerie) but wow, sounds great!!

And those wheels!!! Swoooooooooooooonnnn.... also too much for moi but they look/fit so purrrrrrfectly on your PPW!! (BTW, your rear tahr height is 0.45" shorter than stock Niz 265 and front is shorter by almost that much) but....still looks great!)

Awww crap, now whutum I gonna do? Hahahahahaha! Nuttin'....my Niz stays STOCK! (Or so I say now....)

has nothing to do with wheel size. all in tire size. 275/40 and 255/40 would have left the same wheel gap as oem because they are the same height as oem sized tires. either way it looks good and will look even better with coilovers

finally got the invidia gemini pics after a few hundred miles of break in and a fresh wash and wax. happy with the exhaust but will be putting hfc's on for a little more noise and then will be completly satisfied. plenum spacer and window tint coming soon. then on to some suspension work.
