I know that all of the ones in Colorado that old are pretty well beat on. A lot of them have already had engine replacements. 4 banger with a turbocharger. Dudes tend to run them hard. I'd get a really reputable shop to give that thing a serious look over. Half the ones here in CO that age have 200k on the chassis. I only know this because I looked for one at one point and with the money I had I was in that year range and there was just no way I was spending that kind of money on something that beat on. My 2 cents.
I'd stay away from anything with an EJ motor in it personally. Every person that I know who owns one has gone through at least one engine in their ownership. They're fun cars, but horrible as a primary or daily driven car due to poor reliability. Great when they work though
Also took put the wiring harness that goes from the front passenger side all the way to the back of the car that has nothing hooked up too it... Dont know why Nissan bothered with that. But they sure put a lot of thought into it.
Also removed my amp power wire, apparently it got hot on occasion because it melted into the tar it was sitting on in the stock sub area..

More destruction today... Dont know what the po had hooked up and to what but their was some random wires tapped into major wiring harnesses... One had 5 volts of power when the car was off, and the other had no power with car off, didnt bother checking with power on... Both were just hanging out behing the stereo...
I taped them up and tucked them away... Their was also a random on off switch, not hooked to anything...
Took out the rest of the amp wires... Lost daylight quickly after work, guess ill resume tomorrow.

Hey what can anyone tell me about this rim, one of mine cracked i need fo buy another one but can find nothing about it
They are 350z wheels. I believe they were an option every model year the z33 was made. They are 18x8 et30. The first z I bought had them. Best thing to do is scrap the other 3 and buy new wheels.
Leaving a tight spot last as I was pulling out I heard it scrape. Thought it was the bumper. Checked the bumper when I got home and it looked fine. When I was walking out to my car this morning, in the daylight now I noticed this.

I may be wrong, but I think there was a recall on those. Don't buy another one, scrap the other three, and be thankful you weren't injured. Please tell mem you're not driving the car like that.

You can very likely pop that crease out and tack the skirt back in place. Lucky no metal damage occurred.
Changed my transmission mount back from polyurethane oem rubber. The vibration was a little more than I could stand for a daily driver but as it turns out the mechanic who installed my clutch apparently doesn't know s*** about torque specs and torque down the transmission mount bolt and the bolt that holds the bushing in place through the bracket so tight that I had to use a breaker bar to get them off. The polyurethane was already wearing off of one side of the bushing after only 250 miles of driving. The torque specs for those three bolts are 40 pounds per square inch. So in all likelihood the vast majority of my vibration was due to the fact that there was no play whatsoever in my transmission mount bushing. But I don't know that for certain so I went ahead with the rubber bushing and we'll see how it rides now.
