What have you done for your Z today?
Why because its winter and im bored and I only drive the car every other week if im lucky.
That and I need new rear tires for my anniversary wheels and I would rather just buy a set of used wheels with tires then bite the bullet and buy new back tires for $500... Just got new tires on the back of my touring wheels... I guess I could just swap them over.
I would like to find something light weight though mostly for the fun of it... Ill just keep my eyes open.

Tease!! But ya, I wanna know what that S30ish-looking car is behind the Z33!! I used to pride myself on being able to identify almost any car on the road just by looking at a portion of fender but.... I'm at a loss here! Like I said, almost looks like an S30 but....the hangdown behind the louvers is too short.

So I was clearancing my hood for my plenum and throttle body, I had to cut a section of the bracing away. I was using my dremel with a router bit to do it. Well, I set the bit deep in the collet for obvious reasons, the bit walked in the collet and went thru the top of the hood. Of course this happened in a section I was not planning on wrapping, guess my wrapping plans have slightly changed.
Will post pics later

But alas, I did do some minor stuff today. For all you math/statistics people.... here's today's exercise: 6 sets of wheels, 3 cars that can interchange, how many different combinations and/or permutations can be achieved while playing musical wheels?
(Trick question: there's no rhyme or reason to my madness so that should give you a clue which to solve for.)
Decided to try out the superlight LMZ5s on da Niz. Whoa.... that 9lb loss of weight on each rear corner and net 4.5lb loss on each front (accounting for necessary spacers), nice. Car dances in the combinations now.
Feel like it could/should be spaced out 15-20 in the back but will run it like this for a while. Car felt like a cheetah this morning. Incredible reflexes over the very heavy Nismo V3s.

EDIT: Forgot.... specs 19x9F net offset +27 (20mm spacer) / 19x10R +30 Avg weight/wheel 20.5#
