I guess so. There's a 370z here in springs that has paperwork on dealer installed twin turbos.

Default dealer twins

Guys.. with all due respect.. Dealer installed twins almost makes no sense.. with what it takes to support twin turbos that output 600hp in a Z? wrong thread I know.. but "here's what I did today" to keep the post relevant... a few new stainless lines on the engine bay.. this car is twin turbo with 550 to the wheels on alcohol injection and 93 octane pump gas. no dealer wants to help you "Deal" with the headaches of supporting mods it takes to reliably put down 600 in a Z. It requires SO much more than just turbos and an intercooler. ... the mods list needs to be a mile long and include a built engine and drivetrain mods if u plan to run any real amount of boost without grenading parts.

Buying a "dealer installed" turbo kit just sounds like recipie to me for a difficult le$$on... I guess that can be said tho buying any NA car modded to Turbo no matter who u buy from.

At least private buyer you won't get raped on the price for a turbo car if u know what yur looking for...

Makes me want to call that dealership and inquire as to the validity of their claims. Lol. I've never owned a turbo charged car and know little about it. I was going off what I read on the ad. The ad did mention the oil cooling upgrades and the tuning. But as you stated..... are dealerships capable of doing all that? I honestly don't know. Just saw the sales ad while browsing for Nismos.

I said dealer but the ad actually says manufacturer. I'm very curious to hear what you think.

No mystery here. AAM Competition is a pretty well known Nissan tuning/partscompany. I see that name all over this site and on vendor sites.

Then it sounds like some deception when they use the word manufacturer in a manner that suggests nissan itself. Lol

As they said... how many dealerships do u see support modded cars like this just about "never". so hats off to massepequa for fusing together a dealership and a tuner shop I guess.

I don't know how they make 600hp at 6-8psi on pump gas? again my 3.5l goes 550rwhp at 15 psi on high pressure 100% M1 methanol injection and 93 pump gas. Built bottom end and driveline to support.

The 370z engines are much different. I've got a friend who is not built and runs 600whp in his car reliably..

I agree 370Z has a better engine!! But define reliably... im 35k miles on the build and plenty of track days no end in sight... knock on wood of course.

Also doesn't change 6-8 psi on pump gas with a 3.7l does not likely put 600 down on the pavement or even close.

I have a 07 Nismo which has a "similar" set up. I ran into the oil pressure issue that required the upgraded gallery gaskets. I am pretty sure the early 370z's had the same paper gasket. Mine failed at 45K miles. Others have seen the "symptoms" around 50K miles. Other than that... i love the engine.

Not really. It says installed by manufacturer, AAM Competition. I think it's pretty straight forward.

That's pretty difficult to understand if you read, write and speak English.

Yeah I took it as if to say installed by the manufacturer with AAM Competition parts.
Should've said installed by AAM Competition. The car was manufactured by Nissan.
Either way it's not important. I'm not buying the damn car. Lol. Just thought it was a pretty nice setup :-)

Strung her up and gave her a small alignment tweak.

Still waiting on my fckn registration to get new plates and get this thing back on the street and start working on my turbo order and everything else I wanna do with it.

Hopefully track days and canyon runs shortly after
