I think I got a good deal.
Word, Mike! Those cleaned up nice!

3 hours though? Dang! I used my pressure washer on an old wheel I "color tested" with P'dip and it loosened it all up inside of a few minutes then the rest came off pretty easy in minutes with a Mr. Clean pad. But yeah, might've been easier since mine were never baked on from wheel/brake heat.

New box... Well material anyways... This is the opposite of weight savings but if I keep it under 75ish lbs it won't be any heavier than stock..

Trans cooler and gauge. Guessing I had some overheating last time out on the track. Real bad slipping between 4th and 5th.

Washed it using the Chemical Guys Torq foam gun for the first time. Then slapped on the OEM spoiler.

that does look awesome, however I'd like to see more pictures and see if it stands out from the rest of the car. also pictures do not do paint justice. almost all paint looks nice on a picture.

Thanks, I left out the part when I looked for my hole saw for 3 hours... I have 2 sets of them, finally found one of them about 10 minutes ago... On the floor under my miter saw covered in saw dust.

On a positive note I found so many things I forgot I even had... And came to the conclusion I probably dont need anymore tool sets.

And im in the towing broken-down jalopy business.

AWE, so all you need is a work bench and a cleaner (apprentice) What you don't need is more clamps

Do you use acoustic cement or carpenters glue? You need a air nailer, dboyz - no clamps, no pre-drill, no counter sink, no pocket holes (although they are quite nice)...full steam ahead

I am using titebond 2 wood glue for this one... I'm pretty much just using what I had laying around... I purchased like 1500 kreg pocket screws a few years ago and I have about 1400 left so I use them whenever I can...

While searching for my hole saw I found some other cool screws I used for the top, im pretty sure they are specifically made for Windows but hey they worked out well.

Sealed the inside with titebond... Once I screw it into my spare tire bung im going to throw a piece of flashing tape over it... Pretty sure it will be air sealed nicely and just under 2 sqft

Done for now, hope it slides into the car.
