Hahahaha.... why yes, I spent my entire career in sales, why?
Here's Apexi explaining traditional (some turbulence inside the filter element) vs. conical bottom filter (smoother flow). It's exactly what I'm looking at, switching from a beat up traditional design to a new conical bottom filter. Maybe a subtle difference in throttle response?

It does make sense. Turbulent airflow underneath the aft portion of an airfoil is the enemy in the industry I work in (although I look after the software/sensor portion of the aircraft, which is why I don't know tons about fluid dynamics). I didn't think auto air filter design people would think turbulence inside a small filter "matters" the way it matters when you must manage high masses and velocities at 45,000 ft.

Happy Monday.

I just got a call from Nissan North America. They're reimbursing me for work done on the on the vapor vent tube diagnostic ($156). I'll post details tonight on the thread I started re: the warranty extension. It's an interesting yarn and there's a new TSB to share with lots of pretty pictures.

Today I installed BC coils, SPL camber arms and toe rods and made metal blocks to replace the OEM **** alignment adjusters on both of those. I installed my NRG quick release with a Sparco steering wheel and mounted a fire extinguisher because this thing is lit-

-erally gonna catch on fire.

first thing i did after buying my E33 - was swapping out the OEM antenna for a stubby..
that half stiff half floppy drove me crazy
and seeing how i've stopped listening to local radio some decades ago- the antenna was there just for show.......

Oh and you're not stock.

I said gullible because I know it'd be an 18-20 yr old kid here buying it for whatever VQ35DE car they're driving, expecting meaningful gains without buying other parts... much less considering a tune down the road.

I ended up getting my intake from craigslist for $60, and putting a K&N filter I had laying around on it.

Put the filter for the DC intake on my S10 worked like a champ.

Can't get scene points with the stock air box. I just like the extra noise from under the hood. Helps get the people in the Costco parking lot moving along faster.

I deleted my antenna because my brother made fun of the old looking antenna the first time I drove the car to his house. I also never listen to normal radio (mostly out of necessity) in that car.

I installed a JVC head unit to be able to use my b/u camera and USB. The steering wheel controls aren’t perfect but are ok. Bluetooth works great!

Well, hells bells, Mike, THAT'S the problem there!

Maybe if he'da had on the OEM ALLEGED-UGLY-AS-ALL-GETOUT antenna like he should have, the Sport (hahaha, right, sport, psh) Utility (well, OK) vehicle mighta seen him. Looks like his antenna-delete got him smacked. See what happens when you mess with a functional safety feature?

Welp sad day, giving back most of my scene points and taking off the CF hatch and putting the stock one back on... Also primed some pieces.

Replaced the battery in my key FOB. I purchased the car in 2003, so the battery lasted 15 years!

Yeah, I'm going to wait until it gets a little warmer before I try and take on all the bushings. It looks like it came out nicely though.

Not bad, glad I had the press and lots of rubber gloves. It was super messy finger banging greese in all the bushings before trying to get the sleeves in.

Some went in smooth, others not so smooth. Also put a few in the wrong spot. I just need to get my game plan together for when I put them on.

I realized my original picture had my address on the box, not.trying to post that ill have Travis shipping me glitter.
