Spent about 2 hours yesterday washing 800+ miles of road dirt, dead bugs, and brake dust off the car. Had to claybar the rear bumper and get rid of that ugly yellowish stain from the exhaust. The car looks much better now. I'm taking her for a drive today.
Not really all today, but this weekend rather. Gave it a nice wash and interior detail and finished off with a 350Z emblem debadge. Today I finished off with going to Lowes and getting materials for a rear wiper delete.

Pulled off the siezed AC idler pulley and my ac belt until I get a new pulley...
Found that there's a hissing/buzzing sound coming from the fuel tank (pump), some threads say its normal and some say its not....awesome

It's definitely a completely different feel from stock. I'm. Going to drive it for a week then decide if I want to adjust it more. The best thing is that you can adjust it exactly how you want it.
I used a micro version, i've had the mount bracket cut down and moved with a plate to bolt it onto the power steering bracket.
If you ever see any of the other Saikou cans, even if you read the size specs, they're all huge!! The only one with a chance of fitting is the micro, but it's a good size.
Anyway, I'm going to recommend a change in the angles of the inlet, so if you order one per the '350z' specification, you'll get the right version.

SPL front arms are on, found out my front spindle is bent, need to rush and get it swapped and aligned for next weekend. Next is drill the holes for the passenger harness and get the beef up plates welded in. I also want to relocate my oil cooler before I head to Willow springs this weekend.
the factory upper control arms (uca) on the front of the 350z do not offer any adjustment, and because of this there is no front camber adjustment. by going to an aftermarket uca, you can adjust camber (and with spl, caster) which is very helpful for people who track and want more negative camber or who are lowered and cannot get back into a "normal" alignment. SPL is one of if not the best brands of aftermarket UCA (or suspension components in general).
well i was set on getting a manual hr Z. but with all this time im starting to expand my horizons.. looking at things such as an 08 evo gsr, 01 z06 vette, ap2 s2000's, but still looking at newer manual Z's as well
