I have a 2003 Z, Enthusiast model, skinned in Lemans Sunset. I have 17-inch wheels on the car that were *shudder* chromed by the dealership. My wife has put her foot down and I am unable to buy a nice set of bronze or gun-metal colored 18s.

One option I have been investigating is powder coating. Does anyone have any experience with powder coating? Will it achieve the look I desire? What would be the approximate cost?

Wow, that is significantly cheaper than I thought. Now I hope that powder coating will produce the desire effect.

 

KTM, I was also thinking about making the 17s into gunmetal. If u do decide, can u post some pics.
