get some seat time at a track event learn what your car can do and cant on the track instead of on the street

Don't drive around with balding tires and be careful accelerating around turns in the rain...and unless you are a gear-head like a lot of dudes on this site and can work on and inspect the car yourself (unlike me),Get all of the routine preventive maintenance done by a real mechanic like clockwork.A neglected sports car will turn into a piece of **** real fast.
