Differences between '05 and '06 350Zs?
I know there's some differences, and I'm planning on buying a Z soon, so I need to know the differences, I know there's different models, enthusiast, touring and base? But I want to know the main differences between the '05 and '06, and it'd also be great if I could get the differences between the three different models as well. Thanks in advance to anyone. I know I'm noob. Lol...
your safer with an 05.. 06's have the oil consumption issue and some rev up 05's like the 35th do also..your headlights are better on an 06 your interior upgrades a slight bit..bumper wise different(i cant really see it)
Would I be able to get the '06 headlights and tail lights on an '05 without any wiring modifications?

The '06 Manual transmission have the "rev-up" engine. A number of these had problems with oil consumption. The Rev-up has a higher Redline (7k) and 300hp vs the non-revup which has 287hp. The 2005 Anniversary Edition also has the Revup engine in the manual transmission.
Some trim and features are better in the '06. The '06 has better wheels on the touring editions. The revup also has a great intake.

Main differences is O6 gained about 150 lbs and went from 283 hp to 306 hp (except the 5AT which stayed at 283 hp and got rev match on downshifts) plus grill and taillights mentioned already.

03-05 non revup 287hp
05 track model (i think) and 35th anniversary model get the revup 300hp auto got the non revup
06 revup motor 300hp slightly less tq but makes up for it with a better power curve , revs to 7k but auto trans still got the non rev up
07-08 Hr motor with the updated SAE HP rating of 306 but under the rating from 06 and older it would be around 320ish revs to 7.5k
09 350z roadster only got the Hr as well
revmatch on downshifts for the auto auto? lol every modern auto does that, the real "rev match" was introduce on the 370z with the manual trans
dont mean to sound like a d!ck, just sayin

The model year shouldn't be what you make your decision on. Things like color, transmission, mileage, and location should be far more important. I have an '03 and everybody I talk to thinks its "new" (a 2009).
sshhh...people are trying to study for an exam theyre going to fail
