Default I got hit last night :(

so my family was at my house and it was about 9:30 when i got home and i parked behind my aunt who has a tahoe. something told me not to park behind her but i did anyways.... Because i didnt want to park in the street. Anyways when she was leaving (which i didnt know that she was) she didnt see my car and here sensors didnt go off. or the backup camera....(she says) and this is what happens...

it might not seem bad to you but its my baby...

and since i have to get a new front bumper and maybe a hood because i can barley open it now. what are the rules on if i want to get like a new front bumper instead of the stock 03 one maybe a bodykit?

is your insurance going to cut you a check? is your relative going to pay for it out of pocket? simple, pick the parts you want.

are you just handing your car over to a shop and letting them bill the insurance? more work involved, you'll need a shop willing to order non OEM replacement parts. talk to them before they accept the job

why would you take your car to a dealership. she did about $700-$800 in damage
if she got your bumper and hood. just go to a few bodyshops and get some quotes.
tell her to pay you the median value. no more whining. it could be FAR worse.

You have minumum damage i would get a quote from nissan for bumper, hood with labor and paint. Then tell her that's how much you want as it would be cheaper for her not to file a claim. You then can use that money to get oem, or towards aftermarket or a hooker and blow for that matter.

your car's appearance will be out of balance with a bumper and
no accompanying skirts/rear. think lip at the most.

Sterling McCall Nissan charges $650 for a new bumper/painted. They don't repair damaged bumpers. Just giving you an idea of what the going rate is here in Houston...

VO(had his bumper wrecked twice)
