go to autotraderonline.com and search . i just visited and saw one very low mileage 03 in hickory ,nc(??maybe) . there were a couple of other sb tracks in other places within 200 mi. of me here in western nc.
the dealer that arranged my 04 SB track (sorry--just turned 500 mi) was able to get mine in about three weeks by doing a trade with another dealer who had the car ON THE WAY to him and it was diverted to the dealer i used in knoxville tn (he did 1k over kbb invoice).the dealership is across the street from the airport so you could fly to k'ville ,drive home and save too.
pm me for the internet rep and contact info if you want to try this route
BTW guys and girls !!david just sent my gt7s in gunmetal---they are on (9s and 10s with falken 451s(245 /275) and they simply look too beautiful.

sooo habubauza, theres a couple of alternatives for you. good luck ---and know its well worth the wait. i've owned sports car all my life and , even with its inevitable faults, this is an awesome car.

There's a new 2003 black track model at Southern States Nissan in Raleigh, NC if you don't mind having last yr's model and driving a little bit.

Sounds like a SB Track is almost as rare as a DB Performance. The Enthusiast and the Touring seem to be the most popular at the dealerships. I'm having to order a DB 6MT Perf because there isn't one to be found within 500 miles. Of course, you have to be willing to wait a couple of months....

I just kept watching local dealer inventory on nissanusa.com. When it finally said a dealer had one, I wandered in there "thinking.... maybe.... about a 350Z, and that a black track might stir my interest." "Wait, one's rolling off the truck tomorrow!"

As a matter of fact it's 7:20 am and I can't wait for 9:00 so I can call them and hopefully it's still there. If it is I am going to put a hold on it, and as soon as I am back in town tomorrow I will pick it up. Thanks again guys I really appreciate the help. I will let you know what happens. BTW nice Track in the picture!

Only thing I would worry about a black Z is that you may want to put a clear bra or something on the front. I wish I did but not my whole front bumper has rock chips and stuff. So think about a way to protect that. Oh ya I would think leather would look good in that car. I am thinking about it myself possible all black maybe alacantra inserts? color unknown yet

Thanks for the input guys. Talked to Tom at the Vero Beach Dealer and he told me that this is a 2003 model with 2400 miles on it and that they would make me a great deal. I am not sure what to do. I know that the earlier cars have problems with the suspension (tire feathering) and gear grinding. Plus I lose a whole year's worth of resale value, plus I lose that new car feeling. Thanks cobrasak for the advise on the bumper. will definately do that. I'll let you guys know how my search is going.

Super black track model and North Coast Nissan in Cleveland, Ohio. However, I would not recommend purchasing from them. They are lying bastards.

There is another super black track at Nissan of North Olmsted in North Olmsted, Ohio (Cleveland suburb).

Don't order. Fly to the car you want and drive home. If you fly far enough, you will be outside of the break-in period when you get home.

The dealer inventory on the Nissan site does not always reflect what is in stock. My dealer didnt have my TRACK listed on the site yet. I called and they had more cars in stock than listed on the website. I suggest calling around and asking if they have the car on thier lot. Be careful though they will say anything to get you in the dealership, once there they will try and sell you either what they have or try and have another dealer with the car you want bring ot over to them. I say wait and get a 2004! Good Luck.
