well I think the gas prices are cheaper if you live near the gulf coast (south) or a oil well (near Iraq).

HA..people thought I was crazy for mentioning V-power in the other thread (about Konverter getting more MPG after filling up @ Shell)

Shell out here is running me $1.59-$1.69 for V-power. I filled up yesterday for $23 - and my tank was almost on empty

I hope gas goes up to $100/gallon.

Got your attention? Heres why:

I am sick... sick of allowing a few countries holding the rest of the world hostage (OPEC). They were just lucky that their country happened to exist over the oil fields. No hard work, just stupid luck.

I'm sick of people flying planes into buildings, into the ground, blowing things up. If you don't think that oil and terrorism are related, then you've been sniffing too many exhaust fumes. I'm sick of the United States and all these other countries fighting with each other with hundreds of thousands of people dying. We say in the name of freedom from terror. I say in the name of $2.00/gallon gas. I'm sick of spending billions to destroy a country and then spending hundreds of billions fixing it back up again. I’m sick of our vice president profiting from it.

People are always b!tching about how expensive gas is in Cali. We have the most cars per capita of anywhere in the WORLD. All those cars burn fuel. Anyone remember the 70’s? Visibility was often times less than a MILE. And we burned LEADED fuel!

In the end I hope find a better alternative because this one just isn’t working out. Just try to remember that every single time you pump a gallon of gas, no matter how much you pay, someone probably has died, is dying, or will die for it.

Best of luck

Noone told me that! Actually the manual just says no to accelerate fast or brake fast, nor stay at constant speeds. I didnt stay at constant speeds for more than 5 minutes at a time! Hank, will you be going again this sunday?

I live in Cincy and filled up with VPower. It only said 93 octane. Is all VPower really 94? It was $1.89/gallon.

I noticed it too last weekend. I saw with my own eyes that cruise control is on up to 90, but not after. I tried to set it back up at 100mph, and it didn't. Didn't know that before.
Well, if you go faster then 90mph, then you probably better hold the steering wheel with both of you hands and concentrate on what you are doing...not laying back with cruise control on... so not a biggie but still interesting to find...

Yeha I will be out there this weekend! btw yes all V-power gas is 94 octane. I guess they just didn't put the 94 sticker onver the 93. (off topic) heh...I saw 63F on my car last night on my temp gauge last night. the lowest seen so far since I had the car.

Heh, like the Candian guys up above mentioned, it's frustrating to see us Americans complain about expensive gas. Whenever I get unhappy about gas prices, I just remind myself what other countries pay. $3 per gallon? $4? $5? Makes me thankful to be paying $2 per gallon here in California.

The only thing that steams my twinkie is the idiotic 91 octane that Californians have to put up with. Grrr.
