I don't recall anyone ever thinking the z was a porsche although I can see how one might think that. I have had many people ask what kind of car it is.
I like the concept quite a bit and I would deffinately conscider buying one depending on what powertrain it is workin with. especially if it were something like a vq37 ;-).
why can't nissan produce this car instead ruining all their formerly great cars as they have been doing as of lately

I've received all those comments, i usually get from older dad types, "nice datsun" to which i usually smile and say thanks and even yesterday a 15 year old i think said as i pulled out of the parking lot "hey man nice porsche" so its always something but its usually always nice so i like all the compliments and comments.

I got the porsche comment twice. Then one day at work a guy with a 911 turbo same color parked right next to my car.... Haven't had the comment since.... Jynx me..
i'd buy one too!! nvm im 19 can't afford it

people always ask how did i afford it...idk i guess its because the Z isnt a ridiculously popular car and when people see it they think its exotic...that at least the car where im from i see mayb one Z a day and i drive all day...on the other hand i see a G on every corner

My 81 year old neighbor who actually fought in WWII against the Japanese loves my car, and often reflects on how he misses his old 260 that he bought "brand spankin new", and how his wife said he was too old for that kinda car...he's the coolest guy ever!

its funny because i always get good comments about my Z, and my moms bf always get the "poor mans porsche" comments hahah mabey thats cuz im a 21 year old girl and hes a 31 year old guy, but who knows
