Gauging interest: Maryland International Dragway. 350z vs S2000
Me and a few other guys are trying to organize a 350z vs S2000 meet at MIR in Mechanicsville,MD. http://www.mirdrag.com
I posted this on S2ki forums to find some owners. I want to know how many would be interested in this? The track will be ours for the entire day and you can make as many runs as you can in an 8 hour time period. It's not limited to Zs and S2ks. Some vipers will be there. As long as it's in the same class with the Z or higher it's fine by us.
We're looking at Nov7 right now as a potential date. It has to be during the weekday. Let me know if any of you are interested. Just gauging interest right now.

right now its not heads up racing. single lanes only. We're going to try to talk to MIR about that, but cant promise anything. We are definitely going to do this. Whether it be just Zs or not (havent had a big response from S2ki guys yet).

Scott, check mapquest to see how far Mechanicsville,MD is from you. We can all ride up together. I'm speaking with Gary Almond right now, he will probably be the one renting the track. There will be a supercharged viper there

Will this cost anything to get the track for the whole day?
if so, how much (ball park) we talkin about?
This would be VERY interesting if it turns out to be a 350z s2k shootout day!..esp if its mostly 350z's, then im there.

Going to call Jason at MIR tomorrow morning. I got off work late .
It goes something like this. For 8 cars it's $800 for the whole day. So a ballpark figure is $100 per car. I'll keep you guys updated
