Got keyed in my parking garage yesterday. Saw a guy in a black mustang haul outta the garage when I walked up to my car. I had just left the car an hour before and it was not keyed. Its about 4 inches long, and its to the metal. Any suggestions? Its on the right rear quarter panel right next to the door handle.

sorry to hear champ, same thing happend to my supra, very sad thing it is to see you baby no shine like she use to... and 5K for a respray that you didn't have to spend just makes it worse

like suggested though, you can try a cut and polish to see if it takes it out... if not your just gonna have to bite the bullet and pay to have it resprayed

Sorry to here this op. This happened to me a while back, I took it to my body shop and it cost me about $800.00 to fix a keyed scratch on the right rear quarter panel. Karma will pay the guy back in the future.

Sorry to hear that. A few years ago I had my RX-8 keyed bad -- all panels except the roof. Luckily for me insurance covered it, otherwise it would've been 2.5k+ out of pocket.

If it's down to the metal get it fixed right so that you can't even tell it was there, otherwise it'll always bug you.

Happened to me last month or so. 18 inch scratch along my driver door. 100.0 deductiable and a check for 1200.00 is gonna fix that.

Ya I too am a victim.. Left front fender.. It wasnt to the metal. I had it polished and the color came back but theres a big line on the fender.. I HATE the d-bags that do that s$%t!! I would love to get face to face with him..
