Frank, Glad to hear yours is coming VERY soon. Were the splash guards on your confirmation packet? They, along with side air bags, were added on to mine. Called dealer, damn near screaming WTF, but they supposedly had them removed. I think that is why I still have a late October ETA.
I'll hopefully see you & your Z Sunday!

No, the splash guards weren't on my confirmation. I don't mind them, but maybe I can get out of paying for them. I just don't want the dealer to remove them now and leave holes in the car. I'll shell out the $119 if I have to. At least everything else is correct.

Frank I saw your Z, I went to arlington Nissan to check on my order, Your's got in first.
It was in the back garage being cleane and primped. You'd be happy, they didn't let me sit in her. It seems they are honoring your agreements, Also there was a large note on the passenger seat saying "DO NOT PUT ON THE FRONT LICENCE PLATE". And there was none.
I get mine tommarow, but of course my car has not sold yet so I can not take delivery. As soon as my car is sold I take the car, anybody want to buy a 2000 Mistubishi Eclipse? Anybody want to help me sell it so I can take my Z home?
Have a good drive Frank. . . Drive on..
Ciao,
MichaelU

I just got home and all I can say is holy sh*t I love this car.
The dealer was actually great, they didn't charge me for the splash guards which I didn't order and they threw in a set of wheel locks. They didn't try to get me to buy any adds ons or anything. The sales manager and I went for a cruise, since he had never rode in one. Overall, I gave Arlington Nissan an A- for the whole experience.
MichaelU, good luck selling your car. Brad told me you stopped in and saw the car. I told him we know each other for this forum.
I hope to see everyone on Sunday.
I'm not going to go nuts posting pics, since we all know what Chrome Silver looks like, but I at least have to post one, then I'm hitting the road for a while.

Good roads
Unlike other parts of the country blessed with plenty of twisting mountain roads, we flatland Z owners need to share ideas on good driving roads around town. Hope I don't need to go up to cheeseland or out to Galena just to experience the handling

Congrats to you new Z owners
I picked up my CS Touring 6mt yesterday at Bill Kay Nissan in
Downers Grove. I didn't want the front plate on but I also didn't
like the pre drilled holes showing. Can't decided. Other than that everyhing at the dealer was so easy to deal with, I would highly recommend them.
Also they have on the floor a CS track, that I believe might be for sale, they cannot get a hold of the person who perordered.
I would post pic's but digital camera isn't working. Yes I did change the batteries. Anyway you guys all know what it looks like. I love this car.
Everything little thing that has been nit picked on this car so what. It's great. Didn't get home from driving it until 1am. Stopped 3 times with "is that the new Z". I am going to trying and go to the speedway on Sunday.
Hope to see you all there.

Glad to see some of my neighbors finally getting to play with their new toys! Here's hoping the rest of us get to take delivery before OctoberfeZt ends...
