NissanDriven Inv. list-when you saw it/got it?
My Z has popped up on dealer inventory at Nissan Driven. How many days did everyone out there wait after seeing their car on that list before they took delivery. I've seen cars on the list at other dealers and when I call to go look at them they are always in stock. My dealer is telling me it could be several days but maybe they actually will arrive today and he just dosen't know that yet (or that could just be wishful thinking). Just share your experience on the topic, with about 8,000 orders out there this will be an ongoing thing for a lot of people out there for a long time.

In inventory Thur, delivered Mon
Mine showed up in the dealer's inventory on Thursday. They said they usually get it the same day or the next day, once it shows up in their inventory. They didn't get my Z until Monday.
They said the carrier has a 48-hour guarantee. When it didn't show up on Friday, and I asked them if it would be there on Saturday (48 hrs), they said it was 48 "business" hours. It did show up within 48 "business" hours. Unfortunately I had a two-day non-business weekend that extended my wait for two days.
I don't know if it is the same everywhere. This dealer was a 3-hour drive from the Jacksonville, FL port where the cars go on the transports.
BTW, I thought they went into inventory when they went on the truck. Mine was in inventory Thur AM and wasn't on a truck on Friday. I think they go into inventory when NNA finishes processing them, including installing the Port Installed Options (PIOs). That's just my guess.

how in the world do you know that a car in inventory is your car? Did you call the dealer or are we talking about the NissanDriven. I havent seen any names, or order numbers associated with these inventories.

My dealer called with the VIN...
so it sounds like when I see this VIN show up on the Nissandriven inventory for my dealership that I should expect delivery within 48 business hours...correct?

My Z is listed on Inventory as of this morning (Friday), still no car. Should be here Tuesday thanks to the holiday. We'll see if the "48 hr turnaround" mentioned earlier holds true in this example. I'll reply to this thread when mine arrives.
