Default Hood Sensor on '04's?

Anyone else notice that the hood sensor is gone on their 2004 Z's? Should be around the area of the washer fluid and Steering fluid....holes for the braket are there, but no hood sensor...

i personally think that the hood sensor is pointless and just causes problems. for instance, i almost lost the bolts that hold it in place when i was putting on a grounding kit. and if i had lost the bolts the sensor wouldnt work properly and the car wouldnt start. i mean come on im not totally retarded; i think i can remember if i popped the hood or not, and the thing is so loud when you pop it theres no way that you would not know.

Without a hood sensor someone can just pop open ur hood and disconnect the battery to the car alarm and take their time to steal your car.
