Default What's my Z worth?

I've been thinking of selling my 2006 350z and getting a 370z and am wondering what it would be reasonably valued at. Here's the details, pic attached...

-2006
-54000 miles on the car
-20000 miles on the engine. The car had an oil consumption issued at 34000 miles and the whole engine was replaced.
-lowered w/ a nismo suspension, jim wolf air intake, headers (brand unknown), aftermarket computer, ignition kit, touch screen dvd 7" w/ 2x10" subs & ipod connection, carbon fiber accents, fairlady tag and spoiler
-very good condition externally, minor scratches on bottom of front bumper due to it being lowered

Welcome. Arizona is a 4-season state for the 350Z. Demand should be stable throughout the year. The lowering kit will cost you buyers looking for a stock 350Z.

just curious, why do you have pre-06 wheels? Having 06+ wheels when I bought my most recent Z was a must, whether it was a 2003 with them on or a 2008, I had to have them. So having downgraded wheels would automatically mark your car off my list if i was in the market

Not another thread asking worth. Whether your engine has the same mileage as the body or 20 miles it doesnt increase the value of the car what so ever. The electronics mean nothing so that being said KBB(they spend countless hours trying to reflect a cars value in the current market so why ask a bunch of strangers). KBB still doesnt mean what the car is worth the car is ultimately worth what someone is willing to give you for it whether its a dealer or private.

step 1- go to KBB.com

step 2- enter your pertinent information about your car (zip code, mileage, etc)

step 3- check out the price listed for private seller

step 4- using that price as a baseline, set your own price. be sure you deduct for aftermarket parts since most people do not want to buy a modified car.

nobody pays kbb, especially during these trying times of 2009 with the slumping housing market and 5 dollar footlongs

More people need to understand this. OP, start your asking price off at "Good-Excellent" condition value KBB. Do not expect to get near that however. And no, extras and mods do not increase your resell value.

Edmunds true market value, or kbb.com and subtract $2k from fair price for trade-in.

Thank you everyone for the replies so far - this is my first post. I love my Z!

-I know about the kbb, thanks for the additional input about the mods and such. I was really more interested in if it made any difference having an 07 engine with 20k miles in a car made Nov 05, I guess I'll just need to find someone who thinks that adds some value.

-Didn't do any mods to the car myself, purchased it from the dealership that way. Not sure about the pre-06 wheels, my guess is the guy who had it before had some rims that he changed out with some used rims last minute before selling it

-The eyelids aren't painted on, it's a carbon fiber trim that continues into the engine.

i'm thinking you dont have a hr motor installed in a 05. just wanted to point out that 07-08 have the vq35hr and the 05 have the vq35de. it would be sweet if you did have a hr in it.

*Right - meant to say it was a new engine for that model, installed in early 07
