Default 03 Brickyard Enthusiast 6-speed

I am looking for a 03 Brickyard 350z.I wanted the Touring but ran across a Enthusiast 6-speed and drove it tonight.I just wanted to know what I should try and get it for $$$ wise.It needs new rear tires other than that it seams like a good car.It has less that 12K miles on it and no nav.I am in Kentucky if that makes any differance.

Any comments would be great.
Thanks
Dane

Uh, it has 12k miles on it and it needs new rear tires?! If that is indeed the case, then I would not buy it. Chances are the previous owner had a little too much fun with the engine, tranny, etc. and you could be left with a mechanical nightmare.

Thats kinda what I was thinking.I drove it to check for clutch/tranny problems and it seam to be fine.I was thinking about taking it to get a full check up.The tires are not totally trashed but there is a noticable tred differance between the front and rear. What kind of price would you think that it should sell for?

No clue on price. But you HAVE to have the car looked at by a really good mechanic. Maybe even take it to a Nissan dealer if there is a decent one near you.

What tires come stock on the 350Z Enthusiast 6-speed? What is the tred life suposed to be?I was thinking about 30k miles but it is most likely more than that. The track probably has more like a 30k mile tread life tire.

I am going to call Nissan today and see how much a full check up will cost.

I agree with Rat's Z take it to a good Nissan servce dept.I 'm a little suspect of extensive abuse to that car,and a good mechanic will eliminate your fears.Good luck what ever you decide.

The MSRP on a it is about 28K and retail is about 2.5K less than that. The Nissan dealership that I use for my Altima and Spec V said that they would check it out for FREE, so I'm going to do that soon.

Im looking for something more stock with the factory warrantee.I also have a 02 Spec V that I am looking to trade in.But that looks to be a really nice car.

Is it a 6-speed?
How much are you asking for it?

I wouldn't touch that thing for a dime over $22,500.
Good luck.
