Used cars that have been beaten on, got into an accident, and especially salvaged, are nothing short of headaches and a giant money pit. Take it from me, watched a friend buy an 03 Cobra for 24k with 50k miles, and he replaced the clutch, clutch cable, intercooler pump, bushings in the rear, and battery. Then after getting the clutch cable fixed, he drove around and saw his temp spike up to H and pulled back into the dealership only to find coolant spilling all over the service floor. He finally said fck it and traded it in for 16k and bought a new 09 GT.
