zland- You can add me to the list (tentative). March is a bit far for me to completely confirm but will do my best to get down there.

Richard:

What a bummer!

Maybe since you are getting it painted, you might go yellow since you like it?

I agree 100%. You would have to repaint everything to do it right (engine bay etc). He is right on the mark. Just be sure he matches the metalic in the paint, it is so hard to do.

Did you notice that Gregs Mossy Z has been repainted? It is much more of a metal flake. They had some paint issues and had to do it. Bottom line, hard to match that color so really accept nothing that is not perfect.

Count me in.

I'll also be talking to a few BMW buddies of mine to see if I can get them to come to this. Also, may possibly get 2Kracing.com's John to come down with his fully modded supra too. I'll be doing my best to help this event! Looking forward to it.

Carlos just e-mailed me and told me registration will begin just after New Years. We are planning well enough ahead, it should be a well organized event.

Hm.. I wouldn't mind trying out that TS ecu I've been thinking about getting it, and that just might do it for me, decision wise. Either way... track DAY! We'll be ok with non-brembo brakes right?

A perfectly stock Z without brembo brakes will do fine. Mine Z has stock brakes and I ran it hard all day. They performed well. you just let them cool off inbetween runs.

Guys, do not worry. You dont need to have the most modded Z or be a professional driver. No one is going to laugh at you. Everyone is out there to just have fun and learn how to drive their car at a levwel that cannot be done safely on the street.

If you go a little too fast, basically, you will just go in the dirt. You might get a little dust on your car. The beauty of the track is you get to know the course and gradually increase your speed as your skill level increases. Guys with more experience will be availible to ride in the car with you and coach you on how to drive at this level.

You will learn a lot, be totally amazed at how well your Z performs, and have a blast. Before tracking my Z, I was too focused on improving it, especially adding hp. After running it, I realized how well it does already and for the first time, really enjoyed my Z for what it is, not what I wanted it to be in the future.

Jeff - zland
