Picture of it in the driveway right now:

Congrats on the new Z. I would have gone with the newer Z with a lot less miles too. Don't get all freaked out over all the talk of '06 oil consumption. I have had mine for a year and not a single issue.

What kind of deal did they give you on it? Definitely a better choice that the older beat up black one. Good milage for an 06

Thanks, jekl. The oil consumption doesn't really worry me, honestly - being under warranty for another 35,000 miles is plenty of peace of mind.

$17,990 out the door.

ALSO -- You guys will love this...

I went back to the other dealership, er, used car lot - Geoff Rogers Motors - to tell them our deal was off; I bought a different car because they had taken wayyy too long to wrap things up with me(and the other car was just better). I signed the intent to buy paperwork on December 14. Yeah, really. Even worse, they had the car back from the repair shop since MONDAY AFTERNOON and they never even called me to tell me to come pick it up.

He recognizes me and says "Oh hey! Your car's done and ready for you. Talk to that guy and write him your check." I say no, deal's off, so the guy says, "Oh that's fine. I can get someone else to buy it for more than you anyway." I had left my ice scraper in the car so I asked to go get it. "Yeah it's out back, it's unlocked."

So, I go around to the car and there it is, doors unlocked. Now, I don't know if they left the door open or the window or what, but there was about 3 inches of snow on the floorboard in front of the passenger seat and between the seat and the window. The seat itself - cloth - was soaking wet, with melting accumulated snow still on the seat. Everything was wet. I should have taken a picture.

I'm so glad I didn't buy that car from that POS used car lot. Always buy from the legit dealer or a private party; I knew better.

Also:
http://www.alphasigeb.com/chris/snowz.jpg Damn snow. Figures, the day after I buy it....

That red one is the way to go.

Wheels are way better, it's got the sharper front grille, better headlights, better interior and the paint's condition looks great compared to the black one's.

The second car is an eye catcher, the first one not so much. Spend the extra 3k, you won't ever regret it!!
