Default Please Tell Me

How much do you think I'd get from the insurance for a totalled 2005 350z enthusiast with 70,000 miles on it. It is in good condition everything on it is almost perfect but it has been in a total of 4 accidents in its life (only one of them me) Please give me your best estimate. I am covered under Met Life.

You have a good question but there are better ways to get answers. One of them is through your agent.

What difference does it make what anyone here estimates? Do you think Met is going to take that into consideration? Insurance questions are easily the stupidest posts on a car forum.

the previous accidents never seem to diminish insurance claim value through experience and reading on here. and the condition of the car doesnt mean a rats *** to the insurance company. the price you'll get is a flat-line rate. they always over pay on totaled cars too. Id look at the KBB for private party and add 1K

I was thinking "look it up on KBB and expect to get half that amount". Every car that I've owned that has been totalled has rarely every gotten near the wholesale value, much less the retail. They usually offer half the retail and if you work at it long enough, you can get them to pay the wholesale amount.

Looking at the KBB site, I expect they will offer you around 10K.

Anywhere between 10k-12k depending on what the claims adjuster thinks.
