Sorry to hear. If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.

for such a simple DIY, this is one of those things where if you want something done right, do it yourself. Once clearcorners said they can't guarantee leaking headlights, i went and did it myself and not one single problem over a year.

Thanks for all the kind words. I've been meaning to post this thread almost a year ago but just haven't found time to get it posted up. Finally found the time to get it posted up. I'm glad to get it all off my chest and to warn others.

No, I did not spend $4k on just a headlight mod. I've spent a grand total of $4k with him. I got headlights done, front side markers and rear reverse lights. You can minus about $1400 of that price because a set of new oem lights were provided with the quote. It was the biggest waste of money and I wish I never did it.

I think it's foolish to do this to headlights; even more foolish to pay some absurd amount of money to someone else to do it. this should serve as free lesson to all.

350ZTheStandard, I know, I should have done my research before using cincity way back in the day, but I didn't. I started seeing more threads pop up after they already had my lights. So it was already too late for me.

Such garbage .. I never understood why people payed so much for crap .. I have done my own headlights with no issues .. When I do other peoples lights I don't charge these insane prices for crappy jobs that these companies produce .. Such a chitty experience ..!

OEM headlights work and look great, no need to do anything else to them.

That really surprises me from Mike at Clearcorners.com. I've done business with him for years, he actually used to buy from me. Have you spoken to him directly? This seriously does not seem like something he would do.

After reading multiple stories like this about both comp... not companies, people, I sent mine to Caesar at LightWerkz. I haven't read any complaints about him.

No different if Nissan produced a bad Z car and you were unhappy due to its lack of quality promised. You would expect them to replace, repair or refund your money.

It's not. Mike is a stand-up guy and always produces legitimate products with great attention to detail and excellent customer service. I've spoken to Goo$e in another thread about this and he was being a complete dick so I'm happy he is having problems with his lights. I think out of all of the reviews I've seen on this forum and on the web, the OP is the only one who had a negative experience. Hmmmm! Interesting! One word...KARMA!

BTW, I've had headlight and tail light work done by Mike directly over two years ago and not once have I had an issue. It goes to show that people put far more value and effort into their work if you treat them with a little respect.

Food for thought!
