Default limited slip differential... Which 350z's have it?

I've been all over the place (including this website) and I've got all different answers.

Bottom line is I'm buying a 350z and I want to know for sure which models and years HAVE limited slip differential.

I know I'm a noob here so thanks in advance guys!!!

I know I'll get flamed, it's cool I understand. But here's the thing I have already looked at the detail specs in the top 100 questions and it does not say if for instance an 06 track has it or not.

But feel free to talk **** hahaha

All but the base unless I am mistaken. Certainly the Track since it was the top of the line and I know my Performance.
In before the lock!!

Yeah my 05 base doesn’t have one and it will be one of my first purchases since I wish to track my car.

Base models don't have VLSD, all others do.

....how about reading some of the articles on the website? Maybe like the ones that are at the top of the 350z forum section... it says top 100 common questions.....every model except base has it. And if you're looking to buy a Z, check out Autotrader and Craigslist.

Friend should stick to Hondas. Why would they put a VLSD in the touring model but not the track? Hmm . . .

For the VLSD, yes, but if you plan on autox'ing or tracking the car, you'll need to upgrade the stock VLSD anyway. It may be simpler and cheaper to just start with a base if that's the case. I'm shocked the 370 NISMO still comes with the same-old lousy VLSD as all the others (plus it needs an oil cooler - STOCK).

Look for cruise control. Base has no VLSD or CC.
