Default Plastic Bag = stinky ********

I was driving to my buddies birthday party the other night in the rain when I notice anywhere from 20-30 black garbage bags. I had no time to slow down and just went over them. I get to my friends house which happens to be 150 yards away and look under the car cause I can smell burnt plastic. I take a look underneath and find the bag burning to my exhaust so I hurry up and take it off. It has been about 3 or 4 days since this has happened.

What is the best way to get this crap off the exhaust? I'm thinking I'm just gonna have to take a razer blade to the exhaust to get the burnt plastic off. Any good tips would be appreciated. This has been a bad month for the z.

You got it!! That's your best choice. If you wait till about 15 minutes after turning off the car the plastic will be soft enought to make it easy. Ask me how I know.

Let me get this straight. You have only 150 yards farther to go down the road, yet you don't have time to take 10 seconds to slow down and go around some garbage bags? You're lucky all you have is some plastic stuck to your car. Those bags could have been filled with glass bottles or something. You kinda sound like an idiot.

Good luck getting the plastic off. The posts above me should do the trick.

Just let the plastic burn off as you happily motor along the road.

LeMans 05, why don't you just **** off! All I did was ask a simple ****ing question.. If you learn how to read you will learn that it was night time, in the rain and I wasn't able to stop in time.

Here's a hint to your retarded ***: No lights on the road = not being able to see the bags on a road that is black and lights shining off of the road like it does in the rain. The bags just looked like the road.

Lemans does have a point. If you couldn't react to trash bags then you have other issues. And you know that whole "no lights on the road thing" ...that's what headlights are for.

oh man bags suck. I have had a few customers who got them wrapped around the drive shaft and pushed into the tranny rear end seals. Made a pricey mess of things.

I wouldn't want to run over one, but it sure can be a friend at times! (for me at at least):

Regardless of ^...were you playing that song "I'm only Happy When it Rains" by any chance?

^^ See right there guys who agree with lemans. Do you not read the part where it says allover the road? When something is all over the road, you are either running over it or going offroading. With me I ran them over cause I didn't see them in time.. I guess you guys will never realize what trashbags look like in the rain and how hard they are to spot when there are no lights on the road, it's raining and it's pitch black outside

Exclamation Bag

Plastic bags...

I've seen shoes on the road too...

Some people are just into "shoes" and "bags" if you are sharp about noticing the hints...

It's like an irresponsible fashion statement...

But yeah, that plastic might bond to your parts. You need to punish that mad bagger.

Default Use Easy Off

Skip the WD-40. When plastic gets on chrome pipes on a motorcycle, the BEST EASIEST way to get it off is to heat the pipes and spray them with Easy-Off oven cleaner. Let them sit an hour and hose it off. It may require more than one application, but works like a champ.
