Please Help! Mice in the Z!!!!
#22
lol i have a 6 foot boa and i did think about putting him in the Z....
I parked my winter beater (96 camary 296k miles LMAO) for the summer and I have a mess of mice in there too apparantly.
So far i've caught 7 mice!
3 in 350z and 4 in the camary.
I caught one under it, one in the intake to the engine and one on the passenger side floor
so basically they are just partying in the 350. I'm seriously thinking about adopting a cat.

When I was installing my test pipes last week I dropped a socket while taking my intake off and it fell onto my undertray. So I went under the car and started banging on the undertray so that I could get the socket close to the hole and pull it out, but as I was banging on it something furry popped out. I looked from the engine bay and saw that it was a dead RAT!!! Right now I have no exhaust on so I'm worried another rat or something is going to crawl into my ypipe lol. I'll post a pic of the rat later on.

lol no that is not my home... as i said, i live on an acre of land and these little field mice are a real pain in the *****.
Rats are a whole different animal. Those guys are a lot worse than field mice, I feed rats to my snake and they are vile

It's a good thing it was stuck in the engine bay. Imagine if it somehow made it inside the car, that would be the worst. You're driving around and then all of the sudden you get bit in the ***** by a big *** snake

Ha! I once had a possum decide one night to make house in the engine of an old ford wagon I once had, and had wrapped itself around my serpentine belt. Next morning I get in the car, turn the egnition on, and splat! Bits of possum everywhere. I know this is of no help to you, but good luck anywhoos.

Sounds like you should drive the car more? I've seen them stop up exhausts before, making nests in there. They make some sonic things that produce audible noise not detectable by humans. Put that in the car for a few days.

another thing that works also is drier sheets. When I store my Z I have one on the driver and passenger side floor along with one in the "trunk" area and two in the engine bay. I've been doing this for 5 years and in 3 of those years it was stored in a barn with no problem. It's always good to plug the exhaust with a rag and in the air filter area as well when storing as well. Just dont forget to remove it before you start it up!!!!

nobody's made the "now that's a SERPENTine belt" joke? really? hope your mouse situation gets figured out, a friend had this exact thing happen and ended up having to replace a whole wiring harness because he couldn't get to the bastards in time.
