Inititial Impressions
Boy this car is awesome. I am going to post another thread about my buying experience but here are my initial impressions.I have got a loaded, silver/carbon leather touring without the NAV. The leather is nice and the seats are nice and comfortable. No complaints about the interior for me other than the useless NAV compartment and door.
I don't have much to say that hasn't already been said 1000 times. I switched from an SUV to the Z and I was a little worried about the "bathtub effect" since I had never even seen a Z in person. Well after driving it for a night I can tell you that I don't get that feeling at all. Nice view out of the front glass. I didn't even really notice the narrow rear view, the side mirrors do the job. I wasn't real crazy about the gauges in the pictures but now that I have seen them in person I love them.
The one and only real complaint that I have so far is that the Bose system, in my opinion, stinks. Bass is boomy and there is very little high end. No clarity. I was planning on keeping it but now I know that I will have to swap it. I suspected that the others that complained in this forum were just used to very high end systems and couldn't deal with an average stock system. I think pretty much any aftermarket system will spank this Bose system. I am looking forward to the upgrade.
So, in 1 word coming from a guy who never even saw a Z until I picked it up, "AWESOME"! Lots of attention and thumbs up from people on the road too. I am looking forward to the rest of the weekend. ))
