Gigantic piece of metal flew into my car
So I was driving on the freeway heading south on the 5 and as I was driving, either someone's front bumper or some large piece of metal that looks like a bumper was flying around and hit my car. I had no time at all to make any actions to avoid it, and right after it hit my car i ran over it. The right side of my front bumper is about 5 inches dented in, scraped all over, and also has a large hole. My headlight is fine, and my grill is fine but everything below and to the side of my headlight and grill is damaged; my reflector is also missing :x Im pretty sure I need a new front bumper, so I was looking around google to see where to purchase them and found a good amount of sites to buy them from but I was wondering if you guys know about any places that sell them for a really good price. If my post is dumb please don't flame, just curious on where I can get a good deal on my bumper :x Thanks
Same thing happened to me, I got mine from a member on here in the classifieds, name was manny007 I believe. Real nice guy, he shaved the emblem for me, just had to get it painted for like $200..

stock bumper is what im looking for, ill post up pics later when i have time. The place I get an oil change at said I should just go to the dealer and look for an estimate? I guess we'll see what the stealership says. Pretty sure they're going to tell me to give them my all my little pretty pennies.

on the upside you should be glad you are getting a new front bumper, I wish i could get a new one, I have so many little scratches from rocks kicking up and hitting it. . .

Try checking out the for sale sub forums, a lot of people are selling their bumpers, even if you can't find one in your color, you'll still save a lot more than buying a brand new bumper and painting it.
How many random bumpers are flying around hitting people on the interstate? This could be a pandemic.

Do you not have comprehensive insurance? File a claim, get estimates, let repairs insue. That's what we pay insurance premiums for, to use it when needed.
